Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care and continuous cardiac monitoring
• Assess patients regularly, recognize changes in condition, and intervene promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about condition management and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation and handoffs

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in California (or compact RN license if applicable)
• Telemetry nursing experience and comfort with continuous cardiac monitoring
• Current BLS (required); ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently on per diem shifts

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry rhythm interpretation and arrhythmia recognition
• IV therapy and medication administration best practices
• Patient assessment, vital signs, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation workflows
• Clear communication and teamwork in fast-paced clinical settings
