Shift Type: Variable schedule, 4-hour shifts (exact start/end times and days to be scheduled by facility), RN - PICU
Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality pediatric critical care to PICU patients
- Monitor and assess patient status continuously and respond to changes quickly
- Administer medications, treatments and therapies safely and accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists and the care team on complex care plans
- Provide family-centered education and support during critical care stays
- Document care in the medical record clearly and promptly to ensure continuity
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license in Ohio
- Experience working in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or equivalent pediatric critical care setting
- BLS and PALS certifications required; ACLS a plus
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Current CPR certification
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred
- Current RN license in Ohio
Knowledge & Skills
- Pediatric critical care principles and best practices
- Airway and ventilator management for pediatric patients
- Medication administration and infusion management
- Patient monitoring and rapid response skills
- Family-centered care and effective communication
- Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation
