End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate complex cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, and general surgeries with skill and confidence
Support life-saving CABG procedures and other critical CV cases
Assist with advanced robotic surgeries using both Mako and DaVinci systems
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses to support team needs
Precept and mentor newer staff when opportunities arise
Respond to on-call emergencies within 30 minutes to keep patients safe

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
Minimum 4-5 years of hospital operating room experience
Proven ability to circulate in multiple surgical specialties
Robotics experience with Mako and/or DaVinci systems preferred
Strong cardiovascular circulating experience required
Excellent references and reliability are essential

Knowledge & Skills

Expert circulating skills across CV, neuro, ortho, and general cases
Comfort with both Mako and DaVinci robotic platforms
Ability to handle trauma, total joints, and complex spine procedures
Strong communication and precepting abilities
Flexibility to float between nearby campuses as needed
