Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to patients on the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit
Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms, recognizing and responding to changes
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
ACLS certification preferred
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Med Surg or Telemetry
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems
