Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients as an accountable RN
Assess patient condition and implement appropriate interventions
Administer medications and treatments according to orders and protocols
Document timely, accurate clinical notes in the patient record
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members for best outcomes
Educate patients and families about care plans, meds, and follow-up
Advocate for patient needs and contribute to a positive care environment

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (California) required
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or other certifications a plus
Comfortable working per-diem shifts and adapting to varying assignments
Experience working as an RN in acute or ambulatory settings preferred
Familiarity or prior experience with MST duties or similar specialty is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with care teams

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficient with medication administration and nursing procedures
Comfortable using EMR/charting systems and electronic documentation
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
Patient education and compassionate bedside manner
