Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for med/surg and pediatric populations
- Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly and timely
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
- Advocate for patient needs and promote a healing, family-centered environment
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with clinical experience in Medical-Surgical and Pediatric nursing
- Comfortable and experienced working 12.5-hour shift blocks
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a team-first attitude
- Able to provide safe, evidence-based care across med/surg and pediatric populations
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical expertise in med/surg nursing principles and pediatric care
- Patient assessment, monitoring, and early recognition of changes in condition
- Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
- Accurate documentation and familiarity with electronic health records
- Effective teamwork, clinical communication, and family education skills
