Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate Med/Surg and pediatric nursing care to patients
- Perform thorough assessments and develop appropriate care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families with clear, empathetic communication
- Document care and patient progress in the medical record promptly
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Missouri or compact licensure preferred)
- Experience in Med/Surg and pediatric nursing (clinical experience valued)
- Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain during orientation)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of Med/Surg nursing principles and pediatric considerations
- Medication administration and monitoring
- Clinical assessment and triage skills
- Patient/family education and care coordination
- Comfortable with electronic charting and timely documentation
