Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Schedule TBD; 4-hour shifts (total hours listed: 4); specific start/end times and weekdays to be confirmed; orientation required
Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered Med/Surg and pediatric nursing care
- Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes promptly
- Support families and provide education with empathy and clarity
- Participate in orientation and onboarding activities to learn unit processes
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or valid compact RN license
- Experience or strong interest in Med/Surg nursing; pediatric experience is a plus
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred if working with children
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to complete orientation and required facility training
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of Med/Surg nursing practices and pediatric care principles
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Skilled in patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, and care planning
- Comfortable working with interdisciplinary teams and family education
- Organization, time management, and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
