Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate Med/Surg and pediatric nursing care to patients and families
- Assess, monitor and document patient status; recognize changes and escalate appropriately
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and per facility protocols
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and execute individualized care plans
- Support patient and family education with clarity and empathy
- Participate actively in orientation, unit training, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) credential and eligibility to practice in Washington
- Experience or comfort working in Med/Surg and pediatric patient populations
- Willingness to complete the required orientation program
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge & Skills
- Med/Surg nursing knowledge and pediatric care fundamentals
- Patient assessment and clinical observation skills
- Accurate clinical documentation and care planning
- Medication administration and basic IV/therapy competence
- Effective teamwork, time management and patient-centered communication
