Roles & Responsibilities

Assess pediatric and med/surg patients promptly and thoroughly to inform safe care plans
Provide skilled nursing care with compassion and attention to family-centered needs
Administer medications and treatments accurately, following facility policies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate timely patient care
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly in the EHR
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
Advocate for patient safety and quality improvement in everyday practice

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington (WA)
Experience in Med/Surg and pediatric nursing (clinical competency in both areas)
Current BLS required; PALS or pediatric emergency training preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital setting and learning facility-specific workflows
Ability to complete required orientation prior to assignment start

Knowledge & Skills

Strong pediatric assessment and med/surg clinical judgment
Familiarity with medication administration and IV therapy
Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
EHR documentation proficiency and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to changing patient needs
