Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients
• Assess patient status and report changes promptly to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient care and clinical observations clearly and timely
• Educate patients and families on condition, treatment, and discharge planning
• Support patient flow by assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure (active in Hawaii or eligible to obtain)
• Experience in Med/Surg nursing preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willing to obtain
• Demonstrated clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Professional, dependable, and patient-centered approach

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of Med/Surg nursing principles and common conditions
• Skilled in IV therapy, medication administration, and patient assessment
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Comfortable with electronic health record documentation
• Good clinical judgment and time management
