Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the Medical-Surgical unit
• Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following protocols
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient status and interventions accurately in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Hampshire or eligible for licensure
• Current BLS certification required (additional certifications welcomed)
• Clinical experience or strong interest in Medical-Surgical nursing
• Comfortable with medication administration, IV care, and patient assessments
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on a team
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and commitment to quality patient care

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of Med/Surg nursing principles and best practices
• Proficiency with electronic health record documentation
• Skilled in patient assessment, vital signs interpretation, and care planning
• Safe medication administration and basic IV therapy knowledge
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage a varied patient load
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient/family education and teamwork
