Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, age-specific patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to changes in cardiac rhythms.
• Provide high-quality medical-surgical nursing care within department standards.
• Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation and oversight of team tasks.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Participate in clinical orientation and required training to maintain competencies.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) credentials (per facility requirements).
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications prior to contract start.
• PALS or ENPC required (PALS or ENPC acceptable) and active prior to start; if not active, course must be booked by clinical orientation.
• Clinical experience in Med-Surg and Telemetry patient monitoring preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership/delegation skills and familiarity with nursing process and documentation.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to varied scheduling.
