Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Help patients with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
• Take and record vital signs accurately and consistently
• Assist with patient transfers and safe use of mobility equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Document care clearly and follow facility policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required by facility
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and safe patient transfers
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Reliable, compassionate, and motivated to deliver high quality care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care and hygiene practices
• Vital sign measurement and documentation
• Infection prevention and control
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Patient observation and reporting
• Time management and prioritization in a clinical setting
• Electronic and paper charting basics
