Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies
• Assess patient status, monitor vitals, and document clinical changes clearly and promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and update individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Respond to patient needs and urgent situations with calm, evidence-based interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
• Support unit efficiency by participating in shift handoffs and team communication

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (or compact RN able to practice in PA)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) a plus
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment and collaborating with a care team
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Professional attitude, reliability, and a patient-first mindset
• Previous acute care nursing experience preferred

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
