Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies and standards
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings to the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
• Document care clearly and timely in the patient record to ensure continuity
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Maintain adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
• Actively participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS certification preferred where applicable
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment and collaborating with teams
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient advocacy

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Medication administration and safe practice
• Skilled documentation and electronic health record usage
• IV therapy and basic wound care knowledge
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Time management and prioritization in a dynamic care setting
