Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour nights). Schedule: straight nights or 50/50 rotation as needed. Expect approximately 3 weekend shifts within a 4-week period.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert critical care nursing to adult ICU patients, managing ventilators and complex hemodynamics
• Administer and titrate vasopressors and other high-acuity infusions safely and precisely
• Perform and assist with invasive procedures such as arterial and central line management and rapid sequence intubation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop patient-centered care plans and facilitate timely interventions
• Document clinical assessments and interventions accurately in EPIC to ensure continuity of care
• Monitor patients on advanced support such as CRRT and IABP, escalating changes in condition promptly
• Mentor and support unit staff and float nurses to maintain high standards of care and teamwork

Qualifications

• Active RN license (state authorization to practice)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care experience preferred; strong 1 year ICU candidates will be considered
• Current ACLS certification required
• Proven experience with ventilator management, vasopressors, arterial and central lines
• Comfort with high-acuity procedures including intubation, bronchoscopy and chest tube care
• Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems
• Outgoing team player with excellent communication and a patient-first mindset

• CRRT (continuous renal replacement therapy) familiarity
• Care for patients with IABP and post-operative cardiac needs
• Proficiency documenting in EPIC and following unit protocols
• Strong teamwork, adaptability and patient advocacy skills
