Shift Type: 12-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days to be determined (exact schedule to be provided during hiring; may include day and night assignments and weekends)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult ICU patients
- Perform ongoing patient assessments, monitoring, and timely documentation
- Administer medications, manage IVs and titratable drips safely
- Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and other advanced life support equipment
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and execute care plans
- Educate and support patients and families during critical care episodes
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred)
- Critical care certification such as CCRN (preferred)
- Previous ICU experience preferred (demonstrated proficiency with ventilators, drips, and critical care monitoring)
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care assessment and prioritization
- Hemodynamic monitoring and titration of vasoactive medications
- Ventilator management and arterial/central line care
- Medication administration and high-acuity infusion experience
- Clear, timely documentation and handoff communication
- Team collaboration and problem-solving under pressure
