Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem 12-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days vary and will be scheduled with the facility (12-hour shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care for adult ICU patients
Monitor and assess patient status continuously, intervening as needed to ensure safety
Administer medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
Document patient care clearly and promptly in the medical record
Respond to emergencies and participate in rapid response or code situations when needed
Support patients and families with compassionate communication and education

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (LA licensure or applicable compact privileges as required)
Clinical experience in an ICU or critical care environment
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and be available for per diem scheduling
Current BLS certification; ACLS may be required or preferred by the facility

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical care assessment and monitoring skills
Familiarity with ventilator management and advanced cardiac monitoring
Safe medication administration and titration experience
Excellent communication, teamwork, and situational awareness
Comfortable with electronic charting and basic clinical documentation
