Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality critical care to adult ICU patients with compassion and precision
Monitor and interpret complex patient data, responding quickly to changes in condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient-centered care plans
Manage advanced life support interventions and ventilator care as indicated
Document assessments, interventions and patient progress accurately in the EMR
Mentor and support colleagues to maintain a safe, efficient and positive ICU environment

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (eligible for LA licensure preferred)
Experience in ICU/Critical Care nursing (demonstrated clinical competency)
Comfort working 12.5-hour critical care shifts and managing high-acuity patients
Current BLS required; ACLS and other critical care certifications preferred
Strong communication, critical thinking and teamwork skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Assessment and management of critically ill adult patients
Familiarity with ventilator management and advanced cardiac life support
Medication administration and titration for critical care therapies
Proficiency with electronic medical records and thorough clinical documentation
Ability to prioritize, triage and respond in fast-paced situations
