Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 0630-1830 or 1830-0630, rotating every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in a 33-bed ICU
Titrate and manage cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips as ordered
Interpret telemetry strips and monitor patient heart rhythms
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Float to PCU or MedSurg units as needed, maintaining appropriate patient ratios

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
At least 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred
Ability to interpret telemetry and titrate drips
Willingness to float to other units and work every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
Proficiency in managing ventilators and high-flow oxygen devices
Experience with cardiac drips, sedation, and insulin protocols
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and protocols
