Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour ICU RN shifts (exact start/end times vary; Pacific/Honolulu timezone)

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based critical care to adult ICU patients
- Monitor and interpret complex patient data and respond quickly to changes
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary team members to create and adjust care plans
- Perform advanced nursing interventions and medication administration safely and efficiently
- Educate patients and families with compassion and clarity during stressful times
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record
- Participate in unit-based performance improvement and safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted RN license (Hawaii licensure or compact status preferred)
- Recent ICU nursing experience; strong critical care background
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification highly preferred
- Comfortable with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, titratable drips, and ICU technology
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in critical care assessment and rapid intervention
- Skill with advanced cardiac life support protocols
- Familiarity with ICU equipment: ventilators, infusion pumps, arterial lines, central lines
- Ability to prioritize care in high-acuity, fast-paced settings
- Strong documentation and electronic health record proficiency
