Location: Centennial, Colorado

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; rotating shifts including weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a variety of ICUs (MICU, SICU, TICU, CVICU)
Titrate and manage critical drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, and insulin
Interpret telemetry strips and respond to changes in patient condition
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 1 (Colorado Springs area) as needed
Collaborate with a dedicated team including charge nurses and respiratory therapists

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; 3+ years preferred for first-time travelers
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Epic experience strongly preferred
Prior travel experience is a plus
Comfortable floating and adapting to different units and facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in caring for patients on ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Proficiency in reading and interpreting telemetry strips
Strong critical thinking and ability to manage 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios including high-acuity cases (CRRT, IABP, Impella)
Flexibility and adaptability to varying assignments and scheduling
