Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Assess, triage and prioritize patients quickly and accurately in a fast-paced ED setting
Administer medications, treatments and interventions per physician orders and protocols
Collaborate closely with physicians, techs and support staff to coordinate patient care
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record
Participate in shift handoffs, quality improvement efforts and ED safety initiatives

Qualifications

Current, active RN license (ability to obtain or hold New Hampshire license required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; certification such as ACLS/PALS preferred
Prior experience in Emergency Department (ED/ER) nursing preferred
Strong assessment, critical thinking and emergency care skills
Current immunizations and compliance with facility onboarding requirements

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Triage and emergency assessment skills
Trauma and acute care fundamentals
IV therapy and medication administration expertise
Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
Excellent communication, teamwork and crisis management abilities
