Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, triage and stabilize patients who present to the Emergency Department
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care during 12.5-hour shifts
• Collaborate with physicians, techs and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care
• Document patient assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately in the chart
• Respond promptly to emergencies, assist with procedures and support resuscitations
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and next steps
• Contribute to a safe, efficient ED environment through teamwork and clear communication

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (able to practice in New Hampshire)
• Experience or demonstrated comfort working in an Emergency Department/ED setting preferred
• Comfort and stamina for 12.5-hour shifts; reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred where applicable
• Strong critical thinking, assessment and multitasking abilities

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Triage and emergency assessment skills
• Ability to manage acute injuries and medical emergencies
• Familiarity with common ED procedures and monitoring
• IV starts, medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Proficiency with electronic health records and clear clinical communication
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to work under pressure
