Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Perform triage, assessment, and rapid intervention for acute presentations
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient plans
• Document patient care clearly and timely in the facility EHR
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care
• Respond to emergencies and assist in life-saving procedures as needed
• Advocate for patients and help ensure smooth transitions of care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or eligibility for state licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Prior emergency department (ED/ER) experience preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical judgment, ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Triage and emergency assessment skills
• IV starts, medication administration, and wound care
• Familiarity with common ED equipment and monitoring
• Ability to manage rapid patient turnover and time-sensitive care
• Strong documentation skills in electronic health record systems
• Teamwork, adaptability, and clear communication under pressure
