Roles & Responsibilities
- Triage and assess patients presenting to the emergency department quickly and accurately
- Deliver direct patient care including medication administration and critical interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, techs and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Document patient status and care plans clearly and promptly in the medical record
- Respond to emergencies with calm, confident clinical decision-making
- Support throughput and patient flow to optimize ED efficiency and patient experience
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience working in the Emergency Department (ED/ER)
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour clinical shifts
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid emergency nursing fundamentals and triage experience
- Patient assessment, stabilization and prioritization skills
- Ability to manage multiple acuity levels in a fast-paced environment
- Clear, concise clinical documentation and handoff communication
- Team collaboration and adaptability in dynamic clinical situations
