Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide fast, compassionate emergency nursing care in a busy ED/ER environment
- Assess and prioritize patients using clinical judgment and triage principles
- Initiate and manage evidence-based interventions and collaborate with the care team
- Monitor patients closely, document care clearly, and communicate status changes promptly
- Support patient and family education with clarity and empathy during stressful moments
- Contribute to a safe, efficient ED by following protocols, infection control, and quality initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (eligible to practice in Hawaii)
- Experience or interest in Emergency Department (ED/ER) nursing
- Comfortable and capable of working 12.5-hour shifts
- Current BLS required (ACLS/PALS or other emergency certifications welcomed where applicable)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

- Emergency nursing fundamentals and acute care priorities
- Triage and rapid patient assessment mindset
- Ability to manage high-acuity patients and multi-task in a fast-paced setting
- Clear, professional documentation and handoff communication skills
