Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned patients
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and document findings accurately
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Respond to patient needs and escalate concerns to ensure safe outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to facility protocols
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred or as required by unit
- Demonstrated clinical experience in acute care or relevant specialty
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Current immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Infection control and patient safety principles
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
