Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate radiographic equipment to capture clear diagnostic images with care and precision
- Position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to deliver timely imaging results
- Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records with attention to detail
- Support a positive patient experience through compassion, professionalism, and clear communication
Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification (or equivalent) in Radiography preferred
- State radiologic technologist license for Missouri (or ability to obtain) encouraged
- Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging setting is a plus
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass facility onboarding and orientation requirements
Education
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (or equivalent training/certification)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
- Familiarity with PACS and digital imaging workflows
- Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control practices
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
