Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams with attention to patient comfort and safety
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment accurately to capture required views
• Ensure images meet clinical standards and promptly communicate critical findings to the care team
• Maintain strict radiation safety protocols and infection control practices
• Keep accurate patient records and document exam details in the imaging system
• Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and nursing staff to support efficient patient flow
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and report any issues for timely resolution

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Rad Tech (as stated in the job posting)
• ARRT certification (or equivalent) strongly preferred
• Active Florida radiologic technologist license or ability to obtain state licensure prior to start
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment
• Clean background check and required health screenings/immunizations

Education

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Familiarity with PACS and digital imaging workflows
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner, especially for nighttime patients
• Ability to prioritize urgent studies and work collaboratively under pressure
• Basic troubleshooting skills for imaging equipment and accessories
