Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans using Signa Artist 1.5T equipment while following established imaging protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, including thorough screening for MRI contraindications
• Operate and document studies in Meditech and Centricity PACS accurately and timely
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to deliver diagnostic-quality images and relevant clinical information
• Assist with patient transport and positioning to maintain efficient throughput and excellent patient experience
• Maintain MRI suite cleanliness, safety checks, and equipment readiness for all shifts
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule and respond professionally when called

Qualifications

• Active MRI license required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• At least 2 years of MRI/Radiology experience (as stated in the job posting)
• Comfortable working rotating schedules and participating in on-call rotations
• Experience with Signa Artist 1.5T or similar MRI systems preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech and Centricity PACS or similar documentation/PACS systems

Knowledge & Skills

• Standard MRI skills and protocols for adult imaging
• MRI safety and patient screening procedures
• Proficiency with Meditech and Centricity PACS workflows
• Experience using Signa Artist 1.5T MRI console and sequences
• Strong patient communication and transport skills
• Attention to documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance
