Location: St. Louis, MO

Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Orientation on 04/27/2026; 4-hour shifts (exact start/end times and scheduled days to be confirmed)
Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Room patients and take vital signs accurately and efficiently
- Assist providers during exams and minor procedures with focused care
- Prepare exam rooms, restock supplies, and maintain a clean environment
- Document patient encounters in the electronic health record with attention to detail
- Support patient check-in/check-out and help answer routine questions
- Participate in orientation and training to maintain high standards of care
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certificate or equivalent preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required or obtained during orientation
- Comfortable working in a patient-facing clinic environment
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Prior clinical or front-desk experience is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant certificate/diploma preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient rooming and taking accurate vital signs
- Familiarity with electronic health records or quick adaptability to EHRs
- Basic clinical skills such as specimen collection and instrument prep
- Excellent interpersonal skills and patient-centered communication
- Understanding of HIPAA and infection control best practices
