Location: Spokane, WA

Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem ambulatory day shifts, 4 hours per shift (specific start/end times and days vary based on clinic schedule; shifts as scheduled)
Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist clinical staff with patient intake and ambulatory care procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure all supplies are ready and stocked
- Obtain vital signs and document patient information accurately
- Support providers during exams and minor procedures
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and team members
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to clinic policies
- Help coordinate patient flow to keep the clinic running smoothly
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in an ambulatory care setting preferred
- Comfort working in short, focused per diem shifts and adapting to variable schedules
- Professional communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
- Willingness to attend required orientation prior to assignments
- Basic clinical skills such as taking vitals and assisting with procedures
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant training or certificate preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with ambulatory clinic workflows and patient triage
- Strong attention to detail for accurate charting and documentation
- Good interpersonal skills for working with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to follow clinical protocols and maintain a safe environment
- Organizational skills to manage short shifts and handoffs effectively
