Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care with attention to safety and dignity
- Administer medications and treatments according to orders and facility policy
- Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes promptly
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Assist with assessments, basic procedures, and activities of daily living
- Maintain accurate, timely charting and follow infection control standards
Qualifications
- Current LPN licensure (Licensed Practical Nurse)
- Active, unrestricted license to practice as an LPN (state licensure required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Professional attitude, reliability, and patient-centered focus
Education
- Diploma or certificate from an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Foundational nursing skills: vital signs, wound care, medication administration
- Accurate charting and documentation practices
- Basic knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
- Effective patient and family communication
- Teamwork, time management, and prioritization in a clinical setting
