Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care including medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Monitor patient status, document observations, and report changes to the care team promptly
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and allied health staff to deliver coordinated care
Maintain accurate, timely charting and complete essential documentation
Support patient comfort and safety while promoting dignity and respect
Participate in shift handoffs and contribute to a positive unit environment

Qualifications

Valid LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background/credentialing checks
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a care team
Comfort with electronic charting and basic clinical equipment
Reliable, professional, and patient-focused attitude

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN/vocational nursing program (diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
Charting and clinical documentation best practices
Infection control and safety protocols
Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
Interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
