Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients as an LPN
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document accordingly
- Monitor patient status and promptly report changes to the care team
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to support patient goals
- Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient comfort and dignity
- Maintain clear, timely charting and uphold facility policies and infection control practices
Qualifications
- Current, active LPN license (Pennsylvania) or eligible to practice in PA
- Minimum clinical experience as an LPN preferred (exact years to be discussed)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required or obtainable upon hire
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork
- Ability to perform clinical tasks in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
Education
- Diploma or Certificate in Practical Nursing (LPN) or equivalent program completion
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and safe dosing practices
- Basic patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
- Charting and documentation best practices, including electronic health records
- Infection control standards and adherence to clinical protocols
- Time management and prioritization during longer clinical shifts
- Team collaboration and clear communication with interdisciplinary staff
