Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and support with activities of daily living
- Assist nursing staff with routine clinical tasks and timely documentation
- Observe patients closely and report any changes in condition to the care team
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
- Participate in orientation and continuing education to stay current with best practices
Qualifications
- Valid LNA certification (must meet New Hampshire requirements)
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and completing orientation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with clinical staff
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Compassionate approach to patient care and a reliable work ethic
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved LNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and measurements (vital signs, mobility assistance)
- Infection control and safe patient handling practices
- Clear verbal and written communication for accurate documentation
- Time management and the ability to prioritize in a busy clinical setting
- Customer-service mindset when interacting with patients and families
