Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-focused nursing care that makes a difference
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
- Monitor and document resident conditions, reporting changes promptly
- Collaborate with nurses, CNAs, and clinical leadership to deliver coordinated care
- Support resident and family education with clear, respectful communication
- Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license for Pennsylvania (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred)
- Demonstrated clinical judgment and basic medication administration skills
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but not required
- Ability to pass background check and required facility screenings
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of medication administration and documentation
- Proficient in taking and interpreting vital signs and basic assessments
- Familiarity with electronic medical records or charting systems
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm under pressure
