Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
Assess resident condition, report changes promptly, and collaborate with the care team
Perform nursing procedures and assist with activities of daily living as needed
Maintain accurate, timely charting and follow care plans
Support a safe, clean environment and promote resident dignity at all times
Communicate respectfully with families and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

Current LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license — eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained upon hire
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing helpful but not mandatory
Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
Reliable, professional, and patient-focused approach to care

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent certification

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of wound care, ADLs, and common chronic conditions seen in long-term care
Proficient medication administration and documentation
Good communication skills with residents, families, and clinical team
Ability to follow care plans and facility protocols
Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
