Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse during assigned day shifts
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to care plans
Monitor and document patient vitals, changes in condition, and response to interventions
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the facility charting system

Qualifications

Active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) credential (required)
Current, valid license to practice in New Mexico or ability to obtain prior to start
Comfortable working the scheduled day shifts: Monday–Wednesday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a care team
Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of direct patient care including medication administration and wound care
Skilled at patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, and clinical documentation
Familiarity with standard nursing workflows and electronic health record documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate bedside manner
