Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in the assigned unit
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor patient status and document changes accurately in the medical record
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Support a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control and safety policies
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in New Mexico or compact state eligibility as required
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
- Ability to work the scheduled Wednesday-Friday shifts (local candidates preferred)
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Comfortable with electronic charting and clinical documentation
- Good clinical assessment and vitals monitoring skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
