Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate basic nursing care to assigned patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per policy
- Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to the care team
- Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation and handoff notes
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Support resident comfort, dignity, and safety while promoting independence
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Ability to pass required background checks and facility onboarding screening
Education
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical skills in medication administration, vitals, and basic assessments
- Documentation best practices in electronic and/or paper charting
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety principles
- Time management and prioritization for a busy clinical environment
- Patient-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
