Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-focused nursing care following care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor and document resident vital signs, changes, and progress in the chart
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote resident dignity and independence
• Participate in care planning and handoffs to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain infection control standards and a safe care environment
• Be a dependable presence who brings professionalism and a warm bedside manner

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or active eligibility to obtain licensure
• BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass required background check and health screenings
• Comfortable working in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting; prior experience is a plus
• Reliable transportation to and from the Orwigsburg facility

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program
• Current state licensure as an LPN (or eligible)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Proficient in documentation and basic electronic health record charting
• Knowledge of infection control and resident safety practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
• Compassionate approach to resident-centered care
