Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality bedside care within the LPN scope
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Perform focused patient assessments and report changes promptly
- Document care and observations clearly in the patient record
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize care
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and safe patient transfers
- Maintain infection control standards and a safe environment for patients
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Comfortable with medication administration, basic wound care, and patient assessments
- Professional, compassionate demeanor and strong communication skills
- Ability to pass required background checks and facility onboarding
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing / LPN program or vocational nursing diploma
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic nursing assessments and vital signs monitoring
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
- Infection control and safe patient handling
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time management
