Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely
Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and follow care plans
Communicate clearly with residents, families, and team members to support excellent care
Assist with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence

Qualifications

Current Connecticut LPN license (required)
Valid BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable administering medications and performing routine nursing procedures
Strong communication and teamwork skills; resident-focused bedside manner
Ability to pass background check and any required screenings

Education

LPN diploma or practical nursing certificate

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation
Basic wound care and infection control practices
Monitoring and reporting vital signs and clinical changes
Electronic charting / familiarity with EHR systems
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care environment
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and families
