Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
- Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to the care team
- Assist with activities of daily living while promoting patient dignity
- Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation and handoffs
- Support a culture of safety by following policies, procedures, and infection control practices
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Georgia (required)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid healthcare provider credentials and up-to-date immunizations
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour clinical shifts in an acute/facility setting
- Able to pass background checks and facility onboarding requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork mindset
Education
- Practical nursing diploma or equivalent vocational nursing education
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and basic nursing interventions
- Medication administration and documentation
- Charting in electronic medical records with attention to detail
- Infection control and safety best practices
- Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
- Time management and prioritization during long clinical shifts
