Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to assigned patients during each shift
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to the plan of care
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes promptly to the team
• Document care clearly and timely in the electronic health record to ensure continuity
• Collaborate with nursing staff, providers and ancillary services to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge instructions and follow-up

Qualifications

• Current and active LPN license in the state of New Hampshire (required)
• Comfortable working 12.5-hour day shifts including designated weekends
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Ability to pass standard background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset; travel/contract experience a plus

Education

• Licensed Practical Nurse: Vocational certificate or diploma in Practical Nursing
• Registered Nurse candidates: Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (if applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven skills in medication administration and patient assessment
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
• Good interpersonal skills for working with patients, families and interdisciplinary teams
• Basic wound care, IV assist knowledge, and comfort with common clinical procedures
