Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 8-hour shifts (start/end times and days vary based on facility needs)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Perform routine assessments and report changes in patient condition
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members
Support residents with activities of daily living and dignity-focused care
Follow facility policies, protocols, and infection control practices

Qualifications

Current, active LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced care setting
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing (LPN) program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in medication administration and documentation
Skilled in basic wound care and dressing changes
Competent in performing patient assessments and vital signs
Familiarity with electronic medical records or charting systems
Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to changing patient needs
Team-oriented approach and good interpersonal skills
