Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor patient status, report changes, and escalate concerns to the care team
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient comfort and dignity
• Collaborate with RN staff, therapists, and support personnel to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and follow facility policies and procedures
• Support infection control protocols and safety standards at all times

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Pennsylvania (or compact/state-appropriate licensure)
• Previous LPN experience in a clinical or long-term care setting preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required or willing to obtain
• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Reliable, professional, and able to adapt to varying shift needs
• Immunizations and health screening per facility policy

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program (diploma or certificate) and state licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Practical knowledge of medication administration and documentation
• Familiarity with patient charting and electronic medical record basics
• Good communication and teamwork skills with patients, families, and staff
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively during an 8-hour shift
• Compassionate bedside manner and a patient-focused approach
